Adding PillarRX Copay Assistance Program to all health plans.
-
What is Copay Assistance?
-
Copay assistance is a process in which drug manufacturers provide financial support to patients by covering all or most of the copay applied to a specialty medication.
-
-
How Does the Copay Assistance Program Save Money?
-
The manufacturer assistance received for these high-cost medications may substantially reduce or completely cover a member’s cost share for the medication. Members will only be responsible for their remaining cost share after the manufacturer assistance is applied, not to exceed your existing prescription benefit copayment for PPO plan enrollees or remaining deductible for high deductible health plan (HDHP) enrollees.
-
Certain specialty drugs may be eligible for a reduced member cost share if you are enrolled under the PillarRX Copay Program. If drugs are eligible under the PillarRx Copay Program and you do not participate, you may be subject to higher cost.

-
